Award Winning 3-Window Custom LS3 V8 6-speed Manual Custom Leather IRS ///
Built to be paraded and parked, this national award winning Ford is the 28th street rod assembled by its builder - a life-long gearhead who, as you can probably tell, knows a thing of two about creating octane-fueled art. Constructed around solid Outlaw Performance fiberglass, this coupe's crisp panels mix a series of smooth planes with 12-point ARP fasteners to create an arrow-straight profile that would give any high-dollar garage queen a serious run for its money. And, since a profile that nice deserves to be seen and celebrated, it wears deep PPG two-stage that's somehow delightfully fresh while being decidedly vintage. Activate this classic's Hagan latch assembly and you'll find 6.2 liters of proven LS3 that, sourced directly from Chevrolet Performance, create an easy 515 horsepower! Naturally, this impressive custom's slick Outlaw Performance body rides a high quality Outlaw Performance frame. Those bones, narrowed at the rear, skate a polished Kugel Komponents suspension, which mixes tubular control arms with quality QA-1 coil-overs. That chassis, propped on a fully independent, Jaguar-style rear-clip, employs a posi-traction differential and big, 3.90 gears. Power is applied through a tough Tremec T56 6-speed that was sourced directly from Chevrolet Performance. Turns come courtesy of manual rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by polished, six-piston Wilwoods, which clamp 13-inch, drilled and slotted rotors. And at the corners of the car, brushed Billet Specialties Reapers spin Pirellis. Inside this awesome coupe you'll find $18K worth of custom Tan leather that was installed by the pros at Cornelius, North Carolina's Hot Rod Interiors. A honeycomb themed dash frames clean Classic Instruments telemetry. And the driver spins a polished and leather-wrapped steering wheel around a polished, tilting column.
