For sale is my 1 owner 1987 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 T-TOP hatchback. This car was bought new in my hometown where it still resides by my mothers now senior female friend. Please see the pics of the title in listing. This car has all Vin tags except for hood vin tag. This car runs excellent and drives fine, however it still needs cosmetic work and for a mustang fox enthusiast what i would call minor mechanical work. This car HAS NOT been a water leaking car by any means.It does not smell like water or mold at all on the inside. The car still has all of its original OEM glass also.The T-tops still function, open and close very well and the seals still look decent and plump. The car does not have the original hood due to a branch denting it many years ago, it was replaced with an aftermarket hood, an OEM Ford hood that is in excellent shape will come with the car due to small rust spot on the current aftermarket hood. The cars hatch will need to be repaired as it is rusty, while the rest of the car IS NOT rusty, this car was never driven in snow or hardly inclement weather at all as you can see by the undercarriage pics, it does have surface rust in the usual places such as rear end housing. The strut towers DO NOT have any rust holes, just a little minor surface rust on the driver side tower that can be seen close up in pics, the passenger side strut tower looks excellent and does not have any surface rust at all. Floor boards look great as seen in photos with no holes anywhere. Bottoms of doors have a little bit of surface rust also but no rot or holes. I tried to include many pics of the undercarriage to show that this is a good solid car overall for its age. TORQUE BOXES LOOK PERFECT as do the FRAME RAILS as you can see in the pics. This car is 100% stock except for mufflers. The mechanical repairs needed are as follows- trans cooler line leaking at radiator, Brake booster feels weak, power windows are a bit slow, driver outer door handle may need replaced and mufflers should be replaced also. This is an odd ball color combo from the factory and I'm sure they didn't make very many at all in this configuration. This car can easily be driven while fixing the minor issues it has. The original vin tags are all in place except on hood. The rubber body plug holes can be seen in undercarriage photos as well, with only minor surface rust around them, i removed the plugs to ensure that there is no rot or actual rust, all body plug holes are very solid.
