In 1922 a championship race was held in Pikes Peak, Colorado. Entered as one of the contestants was Noel Bullock and his Model T, named "Old Liz." Since Old Liz looked the worse for wear, as it was unpainted and lacked a hood, many spectators compared Old Liz to a tin can. By the start of the race, the car had the new nickname of "Tin Lizzie." But to everyone's surprise, Tin Lizzie won the race. Having beaten even the most expensive other cars available at the time.

For consignment an unrestored 1925 Model T Panel Truck. A delivery truck back in the day for the French Creek Steam Bakery out of St. Peters, Pennyslvania a business that still thrives today in the same town and building. Remaining in condition much like the days it was in service, but now with some aging on the rusted body.

Exterior
This steel body all squared off and simple has been put on to a Model T chassis and retaining the Model T front clip. Curved fenders, brass radiator, two headlights and a rounded cowled hood are all presenting in a rustic black. From the firewall back is the Ford factory cab with sliding entry doors on either side, and a large steel box on back. At the rear there are dual hinged doors which swing from the center outward to reveal the cargo area. 20-inch wooden spoke wheels with 6.00-20 tires spin below original fenders.

Interior
Utilitarian but effective with a simple bench seat refinished in black vinyl complete with an extra cushion for a seat sits on a wood frame and has a driver's side seat back. A simple wood dash with a mere ignition and an amperes gauge on a metal plate and you have it. The steering wheel is very large and is black metal wrapped in a nicely preserved wood. For the construction of the interior cab and rear enclosed cargo area, wood bead board is in use for the headliner, and this has a few rows of horizontally opposing thick herring strips as structural support. In the cargo area vertical 2x2 wood beams correspond to the herring strips on the headliner and provide the framework for the 6 inch wood siding that is wrapped in steel on the outside. The floors are lined with wood and are unrestored.

Drivetrain
A 177ci 4-cylinder engine in good condition sits under the cowled hood. It has a 1-barrel carburetor and a 2-speed manual planetary transmission. Noted this engine will run on gasoline, kerosene or Ethanol.

Undercarriage
With a chassis fully restored and from another Model T we have in house, this undercarriage shows no rust, and is mechanically sound. Transverse leaf springs provide the suspension, and mechanical drum brakes are on all 4 corners.
