| Up for sale is this 1/2 ton short bed 1972 Ford F100 2 wheel drive pickup. I just put many new parts on it to get it road worthy. It has 49,950 original miles after 5 miles of test driving. Original 360 V8 w/ 2 barrel Motorcraft carb and 4 speed trans w/ 3.50 ratio 9" rear end. Here is long list of new parts etc (in last 3 weeks): oil + filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, battery cables, starter relay, rebuilt carb, new grill both sides, new CPP front power disc brake kit w/ drilled slotted rotors, repaint and new bushings in front beams and trailing arms, new front and rear shocks, new front bumper, new dash cover (it does have waves when sun expands it), fixed 3 tiny dime size rust holes near driver left foot w/ metal, metal prep all floors turned to black oxide, dynamat extreme on floors, new sill plates, new rubber floor mat, new heater core, new fan belt and all hoses under hood, new thermostat w/ housing, flushed radiator, flushed gas tank, and new tail light lenses.New 235/75/15 radials mounted on brand new American Racing 7" rims, new rear drums w/ all brake shoes replaced w/ new hard lines on rear axle, new shifter boot, new spare tire hold down bolt, new bed mat cut to fit, new passenger headlight bezel, changed trans gear oil and diff looked good. New points, plugs, rotor, cap, plug wires, condenser, new rear view mirror, new hood and tailgate bumpers, new hood springs, new horn contact, new repro steering wheel plus horn pad (near $300), new 70 amp alternator, and new wiper blades. It runs smooth and steers straight down the hiway. Power disc brakes helped a ton and it stops quickly. The tires have 5 miles of test driving. There are 2 small splits in driver area of seat about 4" and 5" long on the seams. It has some dings on body you can't see in pics but real minor. Lots of scratches on driver box side like he parked it near a shrub and it rubbed paint. Driver door had caught fender and creased metal (see close up pic). I straightened best I could and it closes smoothly now. Amazing original orange and white paint on entire truck NO TOUCH UP and NO REPAINT was ever done. Look at the paint under the hood and in door jambs, simply amazing. I see no oil leaks on concrete driveway. Manual steering works real smoothly w/ no wandering on hiway. Wipers, radio, heater defroster, door locks all work. I purchased from original owner in 2018 and just now got to get it on road. Sold new at McGee Murphy Ford in Rawlins, Wyoming so frame is super nice and clean. I was going to slam it down for autocross type street machine but working on another car now.
