1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

1965 Mustang fastback was used to create an almost exact replica of the 1966 GT350. This car was built 1996 starting with a rust-free body. All sheet metal is original to the car except for the passenger fender and one small spot on the passenger front floorpan. Quarters, doors, frame, etc. are original to this car. I have pics of the build to pass on to the new owner. Features of this car are factory front disc brakes with drilled rotors. Lincoln Versailles 9in rear axle with disc brakes. SVO master cylinder for proper brake pressure. Shelby underride traction bars. Weld on frame connectors. Shelby quick steer pitman arm. Exterior is finished in basecoat / clearcoat. It does have wear from 19 years of use. Shelby quarter windows, side scoops and bolt on hood scoop. Black standard interior with custom gauge cluster featuring Autometer gauges, correct lap belts. Engine is a 331 based on a late model roller cam block. Engine has less than 500 miles since it was built and installed about 3 years ago. Comp Cam 35-420-8 with Ford Motorsport lifters. Mahle 10.5 flat top pistons. Edelbrock Aluminum Cylinder Heads; ported/polished/flowed -2.02 intake valves & 1.6 exhaust valves. Guide plates and hardened one-piece push rods. Comp Cams aluminum roller rocker arms. Edelbrock aluminum RPM Air Gap dual plane intake manifold, Holley 650 double pumper carb. Canton 8-quart road racing oil pan with windage tray and trap doors, RPT electronic ignition distributor, Summit Racing ignition box. Long tube ceramic coated headers flow into turbo mufflers and exit at the rear of the car. Transmission is an early TKO 5-speed. Car is dialed in and will run as fast and hard as you can push it. The car is a dead ringer for a real GT350. People constantly stop and ask if it real. Additional Pictures upon request.
