Vintage Nascar has never been hotter, This 1964 Galaxie Nascar tribute car really draws a crowd at all of the shows it goes to. The car is very nice, super straight and very period correct. When the project was started the car did not suffer from rust damage or been wrecked. The tribute is powered by a 406 CID FE backed by a top loader 4 speed manual transmission. The engine is fresh and pounds the ground, it features an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Holley 750 carb, Coated Hooker headers, dual point distributor and the correct side exit exhaust for the 1964 race season. The 15 x 10 custom steel wheels were built for the car and wrapped inFirestone 600/12.30/15 Super Sports GP period correct tires. The rear axle is A 9 inch with 4:11 gearing and a posi unit. The car has a custom instrument cluster, period race seat, period correct 6 point roll cage and a Holman Moody window net. The Galaxie retains all of its glass and it is all nice, the chrome and britework on the car is original to the car and still in good original condition.
