This is a genuine factory 1969 Mach 1 Mustang that was scheduled for build on the 7th July 1969 at the San Jose Ford plant in California. The car was ordered with the 351-2V V8 engine and FMX Select Shift automatic transmission with 3.00 rear axle. The car was optioned with a Sport Deck Rear Seat, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, AM Radio and Tinted Glass. The car was finished one day behind schedule on 8th July 1969 and delivered locally in San Jose, California. The car also has Dual Exhausts.
This Mustang remained in California and benefits from spending a lifetime in this warm dry climate. The result is a very solid car with original floor pans. The car was purchased near Santa Barbara in July 2019 and imported to the UK soon after. The last owner advised that the car had received a recent engine and transmission overhaul. Correct Mach 1 Black Interior in great condition. The paint is called “Acaplulco Blue” and is excellent.
