1964 Ford Falcon Futura Additional Info:

MOTIVATED SELLER. I have a one-time opportunity to buy a 1996 Saleen convertible Speedster at half-price if I act quickly. I have almost 20K in this car and am willing to let it go for far less to make the purchase of my "dream car". MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER and this sweet summer cruiser is yours.

With the current slow-down money is getting tight. I CAN TOTE THE NOTE. With a substantial down-payment I can hold the car for up to 4 month, you can make payments until the car is all paid for.

This Falcon is really great running and driving Falcon Futura "Super Pursuit" convertible. A magazine feature car.( see pic) This car was exported to Australia when new. the DSO number 94 donates "Export" with the Dealer Special Order number 1511 As an export the car it had a mandated export brace, heavy duty suspension and chassis stiffeners. the Australian Government Compliance tag is on the upper cowl. I bought the car from a dealer (please see the picture with the top up ) . The car had 96K KILOMETERS on the original odometer which is roughly 62K original MILES. The original Kilometer speedometer will be included with the car. I love the car but the gutless performance of the inline 6 was scary and dangerous. With that in mind I replaced the original inline 6 cylinder engine with a Mustang V6 with brand new Offenhauser aluminum intake manifold, the original Dagenham 4 speed transmission was replaced with a rebuilt WC T5 5 speed transmission with short shifter and Hurst 60's shifte, Ram clutch and pressure plate, MDS hydraulic clutch with internal TO bearing. new Holley 390 CFM 4 barrel carb, Carter rotary electric fuel pump, Mallory Distributor with a Pertronix Ignitor II.custom made ( in Ireland of all places ) "Falcon" aluminum valve covers, new dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, new aluminum radiator with electric fan, new tilt steering column, Rally Pac, new Intellitronics 5 gauge instrument panel, 3 point seat belts. New alternator, new battery, new starter, new water pump and hoses, Great condition Thunderbird 6 way power drivers and passenger bucket seats, matching upholstery on the rear seats. Brand new BF Goodrich Radial TA 205R70 14" tires mounted on brand new aluminum rims. Dual master brake cylinder conversion kit installed.
Everything works, heater/defroster,turn signals, wipers etc all the windows and windshield are crack free. The top is in very good condition goes up and down without any problems, the rear top window is in very good condition. The "Bad", I would replace the rubber window and top frame rubber weatherstripping, otherwise, leave "as-is" as I never drove the car in rain or snow. The paint is good but not "show", there is a small chip on the hood . I can store the car free for 60 days . All the extras and take-off parts will go with the car.

The car is very sporty with the V6 and without all the weight of a v8. it has very light steerin, is not nose heavy, the steering is very easy and precise. The "Cologne" 2.8 V6 with the additions Ive installed has just a little less horsepower then the 260 V8 which was available in 1964 and gets approximately 25 MPG with the same feel as the V8 . Its a total jaw dropper at shows, people think its a 260 or a 289 until they notice there are only 3 spark plugs on each side.
Ive been on ebay almost 20 years, nearly four thousand deals and a 100% positive feedback, I try to describe the items I sell as honestly as possible, I want to be 100% upfront, I took out a loan to buy the car, You can pay me the full purchase price, I will immediately send you a NM Bill of Sale and I will have the title sent to you which would be the easiest way or you can pay the bank directly and obtain the title from them, I get the remainder of the purchase price . I have made full disclosure so there is not double-dealing, you pay the bank their mone, the remainder goes to me. Your choice.
I would drive this car anywhere, Why spend money for shipping? The car runs and drives great, fly in drive it home.
