This is a really nice '65 Mustang convertible. Enjoy the presentation, view my 100% positive EbayMotors seller feedback and bid with 100% confidence. 972-748-6389 - Sam The white convertible top is in good condition, manually operated. Open the doors to 1965. The door panels appear to the wear the original finish, showing patina (age). The door panels are in good shape, left and right. The dash and gauges are in good shape with the chrome showing some age. General clean-up and polish will do wonders for this interior. We have a new carpet kit in the box included. The rare factory bench seating upholstery is decent, with a significant tear on the driver's side seam, see photo above. This could be repaired or the seat cover easily replaced. Under the hood is the C-code 289 2bbl. V8 rated at 200 horsepower. The engine compartment displays original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, inner fenders, and core support. The core support VIN stamping is clear as well. The original door date trim plate is also intact and in good shape. The original wheels wear updated radials and are in very good condition. The passenger door is missing the door marker light assembly, see above. The metal is in excellent condition throughout the door. The door undersides are solid as are the rocker panels. This is a very, very solid original Mustang underneath it, usually common rust areas on these 1st generation Mustangs are in great shape on this car.The original flooring is intact front to back. The frame rails are straight and in excellent condition as are the torque boxes. Enjoy our remaining photos and again feel free to contact myself, Sam, at 972-748-6389 with any questions. The paint has a few flaws, nothing too serious.
