One family owned '41 Ford Pickup. They have had this truck for 60 years. They decided they wanted to start enjoying the truck and so a full Professional Build was done on a solid original truck. Nearly $40,000 was spent on this build. Paint and Body work alone came to almost $20,000. It is riding on a 1984 Ford Ranger Frame and suspension. The ride and handling are just plain superior to any original build. It is powered by a V6 Ford. A 2.8 Litre engine is under the hood and mated to an automatic transmission. This truck is drivable and that is one of the things that immediately shows through. Just jump in, turn on the Vintage Air, adjust the tilt column and relax as you enjoy the ride. A beautiful Leather interior was installed with extra sound deadening added to quiet down the ride at a cost of $4,000. As you can see, the costs add up pretty fast. The restoration was completed in 2014.

There is only a little over 500 miles are on this build. Solid metal truck prior to the build, so it was a good starting place. A new wood bed support was built - (see underside photos). It is covered with a beautifully painted bed. The donor Ranger Pickup only had 65k miles on it when it was purchased for the project. Radial LT tires grip the road and provide a great ride. Don't spend years and thousands of dollars building one when you can be driving one next week.
