1976 Ford F-250 Additional Info:
NO RUST TRUCK!! ALL ORIGINAL!!! This is a rare Bahama Blue Bicentennial Edition Ford F-250 Custom pickup. Only 87 F-250's were made with this rare graphic package. The truck is totally rust free and all original paint, "Brodie" red, white and blue interior and drive train. Ford marketed this truck to dealers with "The Eagle Leads the Way" of "Spirit of '76" factory supplied graphics package (see: https://autowise.com/extremely-rare-and-cool-special-edition-packages-and-limited-run-models-ford-edition-part-ii/) ; Bahama Blue colorSo the truck has been in our family since new. The truck was a working farm truck so it has the patina one would expect after several years of farm use. The truck hasn't been on the farm or used much the last 35 years. The drivers door has some damage above the graphics line so if desired, the damage could be fixed without disturbing the graphics. This F-250 is 2WD, automatic and with the original 390 ci engine. The only modification from original is the replacement of the radiator with an aluminum radiator. The head gaskets are new and the heads have been freshened up. The gaskets were leaking from years of non-use.The tires have less than 5000 miles on them. The muffler and tailpipe are new. The original "farm mirrors" are not installed but included with the sale. The interior is near perfect.Everything works. And as mentioned before and is the single biggest thing about this truck is that there is absolutely NO RUST!!!!The truck comes with a "Quic-N-Easy" style bumper hitch used on the farm for quick trailer hook ups.
