After a full strip, the car stretched DuPont Hot Hues Volcanic Blast 2-stage under power-operated cloth. Behind that mill, a tough hydraulic clutch kicks a modern Tremec 5-speed, which spins a 9-inch Strange axle that's packed with a Traction Lok differential and 3.50 gears. That drivetrain pushes an Art Morrison 4-bar that's triangulated around a polished sway bar, polished control arms and QA-1 coil-over-shocks. That clip is led by a Heidts Superide II front-half, which centers power rack-and-pinion steering in front of more polished control arms and more QA-1 coil-overs. At the corners, 6 and 4-piston calipers clamp Wilwood drilled and slotted rotors. And power meets the pavement through Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dogs and modern Goodyear meats.
