1953 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
This 1953 Ford F-100 is an awesomely restored example that looks fresh, right down to the undercarriage. And you'll also see just the right hints of upgrades so that this V8 powered pickup really lives up to your nostalgia.
Everything about this truck signals a quality restoration. The body panels were made sure to line up nicely before the first drop of the vibrant Fire Engine Red went on top. It has the sleek and smooth shine that tells you it's a recent application and they made an investment in quality. There's all the best classic touches, like chrome bumper, step plates, color-matched wheels, and whitewall tires. Plus, we love how the wood bed rails match the lumber on the bed floor. And as you look closer, you can once again really recognize the attention to quality seen everywhere from the fresh rubber seats to the way the doors close with authority.
Inside is a tastefully done interior. Ford would have never made a two-tone gray and red in their basic F-100 pickups, but this presentation absolutely makes you wish they did. The custom seat, door panels, and carpeting look terrific, and it was all done with the kind of look that isn't out of place in a 1950s machine. So you still get that time capsule feeling. It also feels this way because you have the vintage three-spoke steering wheel and classic clean dash that really get your nostalgia going. The cowl hood still even delivers fresh air to the cab on demand.
Under the hood is Ford's famous 239 flathead V8. The whole engine bay has the crisp and clean look that shows you they invested heavily here, too. It has a terrific classic appearance, but as you dig deeper, you see a little period-correct hot rod swagger, too. For example, there are the classic Offenhauser valve covers (and don't you just love how the touch of gold paint here matched the upgraded grille?) Plus, there's an Offenhauser intake that makes way for a dual set of carburetors. You've got some pretty straight pipes on the glasspack-style dual exhaust to deliver a great V8 tune. And you get to control it all from the classic column-shift three-speed manual transmission. Also, as you look at the details, everything from the Champion radiator to the modern tread on the classic-style whitewalls really prove that this is a pickup meant to enjoy on the road.
This is a quality restoration with the right upgrades you're going to love. So don't let this classic F-100 slip away. Call today!!!
