Absolutely Amazing 1969 Mustang Boss 429 tribute. The 1969 Boss 429 Mustang is hands down the most iconic muscle car of its era, and the most sought after Mustang by far. Only a hand full of original Boss cars were built in 1969 (859 Boss cars). The reason Ford built such a beast was for the purpose of competitive racing in Nascar. Ford was required to produce a minimum of 500 cars to be sold to the public to enable the Boss 429 to be raced. Trying to find, buy and own one of these cars today will cost a fortune. This car being sold here is a great example and tribute to those cars. It is an all new restoration that has a ground pounding 500HP 429 Cobra dressed engine, with a top loader 4 speed manual transmission. It is backed up by the most sought after Ford 9" traction lock posi-trac rear as the original Boss cars had. It is equipped with power disc brakes that stop the beast effortlessly and a rear trunk mounted battery as the originals. It received all new paint and body reconditioning, all new interior, all new drive-line, all new suspension, new brakes, underside is restored to factory red-oxide finish and then cleared to seal it. All interior is nice and new from new headliner to new carpet, and everything in between. it has upgraded 17" Magnum 500 wheels and all new Goodyear performance tires and the suspension has been dialed out to an aggressive stance which increases handling and gives this car an amazing look. This car is very loud and radical sounding thru its long tube headers and dual exhaust. It is a turn key show stopping beauty that is ready for any show or to drive anywhere. This car began life as a real deal 1969 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback, however during its restoration, it was recreated into the most desirable muscle car on the planet. It is titled and registered as a Boss 429.
