You are looking at a beautiful 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible. The car is factory Raven black, with parchment interior and a black power top. It’s a beautiful color combination.
The car has all original body panels, so it doesn’t have any ugly seams or patchwork. The exterior body is very straight and all of the gaps are very nice and even.
The car starts right up and just idles perfectly. The engine is very smooth, has very nice throttle response with no breaking up or hesitation. The car runs and drives extremely well and would be great for cruising around town with the top down, taking to car shows, cruise ins, or used in parades.
There isn’t much else to say about this car other than it looks great, has original body panels, zero mechanical issues, and is ready to just get in, turn the key, and enjoy.
Engine and Transmission:
The engine is the original 289 from what I can tell by checking the date codes on the motor and comparing them to when the car was built.
289 2V Original Motor
C4 Automatic Transmission that shifts great.
Interior:
Beautiful original Parchment interior all in excellent shape. No rips or tears or bad smells. Very nice carpet and seats. Door panel arm rests have some minor wear. Gauges and dash pad and trim are all very nice.
Body and Paint:
The body is in immaculate shape as I said earlier with all original body panels. The front and rear frame rails, floor pans, torque boxes, trunk floors and rocker panels are all in amazing shape. It’s a driver car, not a concourse car. The car I believe look to have had one repaint maybe. Hard to tell if the paint is original or not but look very good. The trunk lid has one minor ding a paintless dent repair guy could probably get out. The paint is in overall great shape, but does have a few chips and touchups here and there.
I don’t think you will find a convertible with a better original body. All date codes are in the metal and VIN stamp on front fender apron.
Original VIN tag on the door.
Top and Glass:
The top is a power top and it’s in excellent shape and works great as shown in the video. All of the glass is also in great shape.
Car Systems:
All systems such as brakes and electrical work great. All the gauges work, turn signals, interior lights etc. The turn signals in the hood also work perfectly. The car stops and steers very easily.
Buyer and Seller Responsibility
InternationalBuyers More than Welcome.
I will help with shipping anywhere in the world but shipping cost is responsibility of the buyer. The car is sold as is-where is with no refunds or exchanges. The deposit is NON-refundable.
I encourage anyone to come and inspect the car before you buy it. It’s up to the buyer. You are not buying the car here for a chance to come and look. Please be serious. The car is 50 years old and has many original parts, so don’t expect a concourse car. It’s a very rare and desirable car.
Payment must be made via Bank Wire (preferred), in person with cash, cashier’s check can be sent but must clear the bank first. Full payment has to be made within 3 days of the auction end. Failure to make full payment gives me the option to sell the car to another buyer and breaches contract.
International buyers are more than welcome to buy the car. I am not responsible for any part of the car that was not disclosed is it’s hard to describe every inch of the car. Please look at all of the pictures and video for more details! Accepting offers and car is also for sale locally so it could end at any time. Car is sold with an Alabama Transferrable registration and a Bill of sale which is the title for the car.
