Bone Stock 1969 Ford F-100 Custom Cab truck. If you’re looking for a no-excuses original vintage Ford pickup, look no further. This truck exemplifies all of the vintage vibes of its era. Quiet but powerful 360 cubic inch V8 under the hood with a 3spd Automatic transmission. Original working AM radio, original owner’s manual, misc documentation including hand-written mileage log/service records from late 70s to its current recent mileage. New rear bumper, tailgate trim, chrome instrument cluster bezel (original cluster -just new trim), headliner. Had exhaust manifolds resurfaced and new carburetor installed this past year. Have receipts. Truck runs like a top and drives straight down the road. Shifts smoothly and rides with zero rattles. Doors shut like butter, as does the straight-as-an-arrow tailgate. No power steering or brakes so it drives as good as a 50+ year old truck should with that considered. If you’re looking for a show truck, this is not the truck for you. It would also be twice the asking price if it were. This is one of the best original driver quality trucks I have seen. Unfortunately the bottom of the bed has some rust. The good news is that the bed floor can be replaced without touching the exterior bedside panels so the original paint can be left as it is. Minor patina on the original “boxwood green” paint. Very little surface rust anywhere else on the truck. No rusted out hood, inner fenders, cab rockers, etc like most of these. This truck was purchased from the original family here in Washington and was originally sold at Kendall Ford in Eugene, OR. It spent most of its life garaged in Idaho. It was used lightly on a farm and unfortunately had wet mulch residue left in the bottom of the bed seasonally which in-turn rusted the bed floor -mostly surface rust with some pinholes toward the front of the bed floor. I have a mat that I put in the bed when I haul any dirt, etc. If you want an excellent original driver -one you can drive to shows or around town, this is your truck. If you want a show truck, this is an excellent candidate for a light restoration. Truck sold as-is. Buyer responsible for inspection of vehicle and shipping arrangements. Note: Auction subject to end early if sold locally.
