Below are previous questions that have been asked and answered.
Can it be driven long distances at highway speeds, 70 plus?Yes, it can go on the interstate and can maintain 70 or above no problem. 3.08 Rear end gear ratio.
How does it handle in general? It handles great for a 32, this is my favorite in terms of the way it goes on the back roads as well as the highway.
Does the temperature stay stable in traffic and on the highway?Yes for both, it runs cool in traffic.
Is the 32 frame original?Yes.
Where did the 302 come from? The engine block is from a late 80's Ford van. The engine has been bored, .030. Everything else on the engine is new.
How many miles on the motor, transmission, or the build?408.
Is the rag top functional?Yes it folds back.
Power brakes?Yes.If I was to do one thing to the car to improve it, what would it be?My response was that I would do nothing. Overall this is my favorite build I have ever completed. Since I have completed it, it has not had a single leak or spill on the garage floor and it has always started and idled smoothly even in the cold. This is the perfect combination of the power and efficiency of modern engines while not sacrificing the feel and look of the old 32's which is what I have always tried to aim for when doing these old models.
