1977 Ford Other Additional Info:
I purchased this 77 Maverick for my fiance who is restoring a 2 door 73. I figured nobody would mond picking apart a 4 door, but immediately fell in love and could not bring myself to pilfer this survivor. She's got the usual rough wear on the front seat and vinyl top, but the back seat is great, the body is straight and the car starts right up. Don't even have to pump the gas.
The previous owner had dug into it a bit but didn't get to finish things like the gauge cluster or windows that are stuck rolled down. I hadn't planned to fix them since I was going to part the car out, but it's too good for a fate like that.
Alas, it is now winter in New England, and therefore time to pare down the herd. 9 cars with only 6 parking spots is not very accommodating to begin with. While the car is covered to keep mother nature out, I would still like to see her go somewhere warmer or at least with a garage.
I have more pictures such as the clean underneath and all the door jambs where the surface rust likes to pop up. I have someone that can deliver if you are unable to pick up. I drove this home from out of state. The brakes are a bit soft and the horn doesnt work. So make of it what you will.
I have the Massachusetts title, from when it was last on the road in 2018, signed by the seller, but buyer spot still empty. I am in NH where we do not need titles, so I've not applied for one of my own.
If you need a transporter, I can recommend one as he lives minutes from me and has hauled many cars for me.
