1994 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
I am the original owner of this 1994 Ford Mustang, V-6, Base model. It was purchased from Clute Ford in Elmira, NY. It has the CA/NY emissions package. It has 76,444 original miles.
I have kept up with all the routine maintenance. It has a new battery, alternator, coil pack, spark plugs, ignition wires, serpentine belt, and pulleys. I replaced the struts and shocks several years ago. It has a rear strut tower brace, which improves handling slightly. I replaced the factory radio with a newer unit that has a CD player. I can provide the original factory radio, which would need repair. The oil and filter are fresh. There are no oil leaks, and the engine does not burn oil. The engine always runs at the correct temperature - even during the hot summers. I replaced the cylinder head gaskets with FelPro parts. I replaced recently the thermostat and flushed the cooling system. I am a non-smoker. The car passes the rigorous Pennsylvania annual mechanical inspection. The AC works very well and has never had problems. Everything works, nothing is malfunctioning. There are no warning lights. I replaced the fuel filter recently. The vehicle should pass state inspection in states such as Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas, without further repairs, however, state inspections are more of an art rather than a science so I cannot guarantee this. There is no substantive rust - these "SN-95" vehicles were very well rustproofed at the River Rouge, Michigan factory where they were assembled.
There is a slight chatter from the clutch release bearing, however, I will provide a billet aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall clutch adjuster, which may allow fine tuning of the clutch so that the release bearing does not have to be repaired. If I were to keep the car, I would recommend replacing the tires, either with Nankang NS-25 all season tires for the original "spider cast" aluminum 15" rims, or, moving to 18" rims instead (18x9 rims are recommended by American Muscle and Late Model Restoration). The brake pads, calipers and rotors are fine for now, however, if I were to keep the car, PowerStop makes a very cost-effective kit, available from Rock Auto. I am supplying a new Walker muffler, since the original one has some corrosion.
I would suggest that because I use this as a daily driver periodically, and because I make sure the vehicle has regular maintenance, that a buyer may drive the vehicle home, as a cost-effective way to pick it up. The car does not need to be shipped. If you do use shipping, I would recommend that you try "UShip.com" which allows independent operators to bid on your shipping job.
Payment is through PayPal, bank cashier's check, or personal check (as long as the check clears before the vehicle is picked up). I can easily safely store the vehicle in my driveway until you pick it up. I have detailed the vehicle, with washing and waxing and vacuuming. PayPal apparently requires a small deposit.
This is reliable daily driver that deserves to be collected and enjoyed. It is NOT a parts car. Thank you for bidding.
