1965 Ford Mustang GT Additional Info:

Wow, look at the colors and features this genuine GT has to offer! Same owner 22 years. It is very well sorted. Texas- North Carolina car with clean metal. Everything to verify it's a real GT has been checked, it is a real "A" code perf 289.
EXTERIOR: Factory Raven black paint is 20 years old and still has mirror reflection. There are minor flaws if you look for them but walk up to it, it looks like a show car. Black car needs to be straight and this one is. Both sides, trunk and hood are like an arrow. Body gaps are nice. The exterior chrome and trim was replaced. Recently replaced white convertible top. Has GT wheels with Coker dual redline radial tires. Features include GT fog lamps, GT exhaust tips through the valance, red GT stripe and trunk rack. Excellent weatherstrips, glass, jambs etc.
INTERIOR: The red really pops. New carpet, seat covers and door panels. Has plenty of nice features. Rare bench seat with fold down armrest. Also has woodgrain trim on dash, restored woodgrain steering wheel with working horn, new dash pad. Has working rally pac gauges- tachometer and clock. The retro stereo looks like the original but has FM, aux hook up and remote cd changer. Also has pony floormats and red seatbelts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has correct "A" code performance 289 V-8 with 4 barrel. The compartment is restored to factory condition. Stock manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner. Has reproduction hoses, clamps, Autolite battery topper, Autolite alternator, correct decals. Correct washer bag with electric pump. All the components are very clean and proper. The metal engine bay smooth and clean with clean seams, painted semi-gloss black. Has factory air conditioning system that blows cold air. The master cylinder is updated to a dual reservoir for safety. Has power steering. Bottom of the hood is glossy, the latches are detailed.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Has a 5th matching GT wheel and dual stripe redline for a spare. That always tells me the owner wasnt cheap when they buy a 5th tire. Has jack assembly and rubber mat. Clean metal painted gloss black.
UNDERSIDE: The steering and suspension is in good condition. Recent swaybar bushings, shocks. Brake system was redone, has disc in front. Bottom of the motor is clean. C-4 trans looks very clean, pan and bolts are spotless. New correct GT dual exhaust with resonators. Fuel tank and sending unit were recently replaced. Very clean floors, frame rails, torque boxes.
This GT has a lot going for it. It comes from a good owner that has nice cars and takes pride in making sure they are dialed in nicely. This rare car is more then a pretty face, it functions just as good as it looks. There are Mustangs, everybody lives them around the world. There are not too many like this one!
