1963 Ford Galaxie " STREET GASSER ", This was a low mileage very nice car when I bought it. I am the third owner and know the history of my car. This car has never been wrecked or damaged and no rust ever. I have owned this car for 30 yrs and turned it into a 60s - 70s retro style gasser in 2015. It is not a show car but it is very nice and built with all the right stuff . This is a brief description and build sheet for my car.A. BODY : Low mileage (60K) when bought and now has 85K miles.B. PREPARATION FOR " GASSER BUILD " : 1. Entire car stripped to bare metal 2. All trim holes were welded closed 3. Bare metal was epoxy primere, then coated with urethane primer 4. Mitsubishi " dandelion yellow " color is base coat / clear coat urethane paintC. CHASSIS : 1. Stock chassis with front spring housing removed for a cleaner look 2. Jim Meyers straight front axle ( custom build for this car ) & disc brakes 3. Custom built rear leaf springs mounted on top of axle. Rear springs a a little soft for the street and would recommend adding
extra leaf if you wanted to race the car. 4. All new 2.5 inch exhaust system with HP - 2 shorty mufflersD. ENGINE: 1. Fresh build on 1970 Ford Mustang 351 Cleveland 4V Mach 1 motor 2. Engine has approx. 8K miles since rebuild. Engine has been ported, polished & balanced 3. Roller cam & MSD ignition. 9.1 compression - runs fine on good grade pump gas 4. Ran 13.9 quarter mile in the Mustang 5. Custom made & Ceramic coated front fender - well headersE. TRANS : 1. 1970 C - 6 with 800 dollar rebuild ( everything is new )F. INTERIOR, CARPET & HEADLINER : 1. All new MARINE GRADE vinyl rolled & pleated interior. Rear seat was remove and custom carpeted storage area ( 60s style ) installed. 2. Custom made cover over rear seat area. 3. New carpet (gray) with sound barrier 4. New white headlinerG. TIRES : Like new 1. Front are black wall (both sides) 215 X 70 X 15R 2.
