1959 Ford Galaxie Restomod Additional Info:
This 1959 Ford Galaxie is an interesting blend of survivor and restomod. You see it everywhere, including the two-tone paint, stock interior now with A/C, and a big V8 backed up by four-wheel disc brakes. And best of all, this attractive mix is all offered at an obtainable price.
This is the ultimate classic for many of us. 1959 was the introduction of the top-of-the-line Galaxie trim. The Fairlane line already carried a lot of design cues from its square Thunderbird relative. And the Galaxie was the special model that gives you its roofline, too. We love the design cues from this model like the flat front that looks even wider thanks to the quad headlight package. Plus, the arched tailfins run the entire back half of the car and meet up with the jet-inspired taillights. Because this is the top trim, the amount of chrome on this car can just about be described in acres. The most impressive piece of this brightwork is the sweeping profile that artfully follows the design lines from headlight to tailfin. It provides the perfect separation line for the two-tone Adriatic Green and white paint. In fact, the two colors here show a cool bit of history. This car is six decades old, and the white top half is believed to be factory original. While this carries the history well, the green portion has been repainted to show what a cool glossy classic cruiser looks like. That's pretty cool, right?
Owning a cool looking cruiser also means a coordinating interior. So the sea of green is continued on the inside. And the white returns for accenting on places like the classic steering wheel. This is a highly original interior. The dials remain clear and the trim remains bright, which you don't often see on classics that are well-past the half-century mark. So people who appreciate cool and genuine vintage cars will love going for a ride in this Galaxie. And because this is a full-sized Ford, you have plenty of room for everyone across the two rows of wide benches. Plus, the upgraded to cold-blowing R134a air conditioning means everyone stays comfortable.
When you look under the hood of a full-sized Ford, you expect to see plenty of motor, and this one doesn't disappoint. It has the correct B-code block, and in fact, the 332 cubic-inch V8 is believed to be original to the car. But you can also see they upgraded the flair on this one with newer bold blue block paint, an Edelbrock shining air topper, and matching valve covers. Plus, there are nice useful upgrades, such as the billet pulleys and aluminum radiator. The V8 power makes a sweet sound out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. And so it's the kind of classic you'll love driving. Enhancing this experience even more is the ease of the three-speed automatic transmission and the upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes for extra confidence.
This first-year Galaxie combines survivor-style classic elements with all the best upgrades. It's a terrific blend, that you'll want to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
