1933 Ford Highboy Coupe
Car was built and finished after 3 years of building in December of 2005. It was invited to the Grand National Roadster in January of 2006 (Invitation only) and also invited to Blackie Gejeian's (Invitation only) in March of 2006. After that it was put on the street for the past 13 years.It has been driven (not Trailered) from Phoenix, Az., to Del Mar, Calif. 3 times, then to Pleasanton, California one time, and all over the state of Arizona for the past 13 yrs.
The car has a custom hand-built aluminum radiator with a So Cal monster fan.The car lived in Phoenix all its life with NO overheating issues at all. Custom Dan Fink aluminum Grill Shell and Stainless insert. Also has a custom hood inserts by Dan Fink. The Engine is a Custom Built, Blueprinted 383 Stroker SBC, balanced, Air Flow Research Heads, CNC ported.The transmission is a Bowtie stage 3, 700 R4. The rear end is Jag 411 posi-traction all chrome and polished.Vintage air and heater, Flaming River tilt steering column. B & M ratchet shifter. Classic Interments, (Speedometer, oil gauge, temp gauge, volt meter and Trans temp gauge) trans fan and radiator fanare custom controlled by Dakota Digital electronic fan controllers. Custom audio sound stereo with 6 disc CD changer and all leather interior. Weld wood power disc breaks with Vacuum pump, stainless steel gas tank, polished break lines, and fuel lines. Car has power windows, power trunk, and power Bear Claw door latches. The body is a Poliform 33 Ford body. The hood is an all-aluminum custom built.
