1969 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
Up for auction is a 1969 Ford Mustang fastback body. This is for the body and the additional parts shown in the photos; what you see is what you get. If you want to build one from the ground up, here you go. The body is in fair shape, with the floor pans being pretty much gone, a little bit of rust on the rear quarters, and a little bin in the usual places. The quarter panel on the drivers side has been "fixed" at some point, so that will need some attention. There is also some rust on the rear of the car where the tail lights and the gas cap would be located. Nothing that can't be fixed; Definitely a car worth saving. The hood and fenders are off of a 1970 Mach 1, but they are still usable. They could be sold for a couple of bucks themselves. No motor or transmission is included, but it originally came with a 390 4 barrel V-8, with an automatic transmission. I wish I had that to go with the car, but I do not. The most interesting thing about this old pony is the Marti report that comes with it. I have seen many of these reports over the years, but I’ve NEVER seen a 1 of 1 car. This car was the only one with the paint/trim codes that this car had (if you know anything about mustangs, this is a biggie). I’ve included a pic of the Marti report for your viewing pleasure. I know she looks rough, but I’ve seen them brought back to life and I think she could be brought back as well. Buyer is responsible for shipping and loading. I would do some work on her myself (soda blast, repair floor pans and the rusty areas, and then prime everything) and sell her for WAY more than I’m starting the auction for, but I don’t have the time and I have other projects that are higher on my list of priorities at the moment. I do not have the title to the car, so all I can give you is a bill of sale. Also, if you bid on the car, please plan on actually buying it in case you win.
