1976 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Additional Info:

Thank you all for the interest in my trucks. Special thanks and "hello”' to all the people that have purchased vehicles from me and the good times we had! Also, special thanks to those that have complimented my trucks even though there was never a desire to purchase them.

If you have asked for pics of my trucks and I have not sent them to you personally, please understand that you are not the only one. There just isn't enough time in the day to reach all of you so I decided to just put them on eBay. I have many requests for rust-free, unrestored trucks, so as requested this truck is for you!

This is a 1976 F-250 Crew Cab Ranger XLT Highboy A/C truck. It was produced with the best dash trim, chrome headliner trim, A/C (A/C compressor and brackets missing but I have multiple sets so no problem). It has new tires, a 1964 Fe motor, my guess is 390 by the intake. I didn't check the stroke. It has good heads and runs 50 to 60 oil PSI at 180 degrees temp at idle. This truck has a 4 BBL-headers and dual exhaust.

Power steering and power brakes work awesome. This truck never had rust. It looks like a tractor hit the side. We put original metal at left rear quarter panel and replaced the 2 damaged doors. I have original hood but paint was flaking so I changed it. The bed that came on it didn't match so we put a rust free bed on it. I have had this truck a long time and even after sitting outside all winter with no use, it fired up on the first try in the Spring.

It has the tank behind the seat and one mid ship so the front gas door on bed is usable and correctly plumbed. Also, there is a bow rack mounted to the inside roof that you can have free of charge!

Note: I have had this truck a long time as said before.

Until today after I wrote this I was making sure there was no rust anywhere and noticed the frame had been professionally welded together. Bottom line, The VIN# on the cab is illegible but that doesn't matter, After decoding the frame VIN it showed F26 which is cool, BUT, it showed assembled in San Jose, California. All new Crew Cabs were from Canada at that time.

So, this truck started life as a Regular Cab Highboy and was converted to a Crew Cab using this awesome Ranger XLT Cab. This IS the best build I have ever seen! Awesome, it fooled me and I've been doing this for 42 years! Now I know why this truck is so solid, and an awesome driver. In Montana there is a lot of wide open spaces and usually no one around to help if you break down.

Clear title matches the frame as it should.

Thanks!
