1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 California Car - Fresh Restoration - Tastefully Modified with $37k in Upgrades - True Mach 1 (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is pleased to... offer this 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 out of a local collection. This car was fully restored in 2017 and has undergone many mechanical upgrades since. It is a runner and performs incredibly well. The car is originally from California and retains its original motor and paint scheme. The car is finished in factory Light Pewter Metallic over a Black interior with Bucket seats. The original 351 Cobra Jet 4bbl V8 sits under the hood with vacuum activated Ram Air, which does work properly. The Ram Air hood with matte black center, front spoiler, matte black rear spoiler, Mach 1 decals, and the Mach 1 Aluminum Gas cap gives this American Muscle icon its flare. Our client acquired the car right after the restoration and gave it his own flare, to the tune of $37,000 in upgrades. Not a fan of the sloppy 4-speed, a B and M Street Automatic Transmission was ordered and installed by Star Customs of Grand Rapids, MI. Other upgrades included new Black American Racing Wheels, Wilwood Brakes on a four wheels, front Coilover Suspesion and Upgraded Stage 2 Suspension in the rear, Aluminum Radiator, new Stereo System, New Console, and new Rear End Gear and Housing 3.73 Assembly. Those are just the big ticket items - there is a laundry list of all items gone through with no shortcuts made nor expense spared. The car looks great and performs even better. Turn key and ready to go. You simply source a Mach 1 and build a car this solid for the price we are asking. You'd have at least double invested. Get the car that's done and enjoy it!
