CDC Presents... An unrivaled quality and fully restored 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. This Mustang creates pure excitement and curiosity. It was meticulously restored with no details spared. Take your time and sift through ALL of our photographs as we take you on an excursion in this iconic American collector car. It undoubtedly satisfies any and all desires of any classic Mustang enthusiasts. CDC Preparations... Upon acquisition of a classic Mustang of this calibre, our initial steps of preparation for market are through... a visual and mechanical inspection. When it first arrived, we put it on the lift and powerwashed the undercarriage. This frees the vehicle of any grime and debris to help reveal any forseeable issues. As an exceptional restoration vehicle, the underside of this Mustang is just that- exceptional. There is zero rust underneath, and it shows no signs of damage. The floor pans were even restored to their factory primer red color. The suspension is all OE replaced and brand new. As you will see in over 150 photographs of this Mustang, this car exemplifies perfection. Following the undercarriage inspection, this Mustang went through our service department where our technicians performed a thorough mechanical inspection. With zero mechanical issues or leaks, and a quick standard service, this Mustang is ready to go. Finally, our preparations come to an end with cosmetic and driver-experience details. This Mustang was carefully and thoroughly detailed. During this detailing process, the interior is inspected for functionality and quality. There are absolutely no rips or tears in any of the seats. The seat adjustments and folding mechanisms work flawlessly. The headliner is pristine with no areas hanging or folds. The chrome around the dash shows minimal wear. ALL of the guages were closely inspected for functionallity and work flawlessly. When the vehicle was delivered, we noticed that the handle for the parking brake was broken. It was then replaced with a OE style replacement from Scott Drake. Upon completion of the detailing process, this Mustang is ready for market. Exterior... The appearance of the Mustang is undoubtedly its most distinctive feature. The overall body styling- accentuated by the upswept rear lower body treatment- creates the feeling of litheness, agility and speed that it was intended to convey. The custom Mermaid Blue paint job on this car is nothing short of extraordinary. The white stripes along the lower panels, hood scoop, billet grille, and chrome 5-spoke rims augment its muscular appearance and sharp body edges. The Tri-Y headers and dual Magnaflow exhaust is featured through the GT style rear valance and sounds incredible. Both front and rear bumpers are pristine with no dents or scratches. Interior... One of design requirements established by Ford for the Mustang was that it should be a 4-passenger car and this has been neatly accomplished while still retaining much of the "coupe" look. The rake of the windshield assists in this illusion when coupled with the more upright slant of the back of the top. The interior is spacious and offers a crisp dash design. 5 guages are neatly tucked away behind the steering wheel surrounded by chrome and wood trim. The optional and highly renowned "Pony Interior" features heavy weight vinyl bucket seats with matching inserts and Pony logos, and die-cast chrome plated seat buttons. Those seats were built with comfort and enough support to keep the driver in place during spirited driving. The interior in this Mustang is impeccable. There are minimal signs of wear and tear all throughout. The Pony interior is in Wimbledon White, which is matched throughout the cabin and accented by an Aqua dash and floor. The door panels are immaculate. The fully functioning set of guages read Fuel, Oil, Speedometer, Amps, and Temp. A custom Pony emblem was added to the rear deck. You feel empowered by the deluxe wood-grain steering wheel and Hurst shift knob. Any and all rubber throughout the vehicle is supple and seals well, keeping you safe from all weather conditions.
