Let's talk a little about the Military History of the Classic truck and Trailer. The man that restored this truck and trailer was a member of the Idaho Air Guard and worked on the F-4 Phantom II fighter jets. There is even a picture taken of him driving his rig on the tarmac in front of the Awesome A-10 Warthog fighter jet. The 1947Lazy Bones tent trailer was built in San Jose, CA from surplus WWII materials it has the original steel body with aluminum fenders and hand polished stainless-steel hinges and bumper. The whole truck and trailer are custom hand pinstriped by Ed Norris with F4 Phantom silhouettes and Logos of the Phantom II logo character. We have pictures of the trailer unfolded but we didn't put on the custom matching gray vinyl covering. Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking Custom 1950 truck. This 1950 Ford F1 Show Truck has a modified Chevy 350 CID V8 in it and it has been completely rebuilt including Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb, Dunov cam, 202 Heads HEI distributor, Hooker Headers, High capacity aluminum radiator, electric fan and is running very well. The Hooker headers with new dual exhaust system sounds Awesome. The engine is backed by a NEW Turbo 350 three speed automatic transmission and a rebuilt 9 Inch Posi rear-end both of which function very well. The BEAUTIFUL Gray Tweed and Burple interior is NEW, including a nice NEW Tweed Ranger split front bench seat, NICE original dash and, Billet gauge cluster with new Auto Meter gauges, nice original floors, nice New Tweed headliner and sun visors, nice New Original Chromed door and nice new leather wrapped Banjo style polished aluminum steering wheel with Ford V8 horn button and tilt steering column. This truck is nicely equipped including, Mustang II front clip with Power Disc brakes and Power Rack and Pinion Steering, Boxed original 1950 frame, Auto Meter gauge package, Original dual chrome exterior mirrors, good heater and defroster. It has Sony Xplod CDX-GT08 Digital AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3/WMA and AUX input for your phone or music player with Remote control, Sony 6 inch 3 way speakers in the front and Sony 3 way 6x9 inch speakers in the back.
