I am selling my 1959 Ford Custom 300 this week. It is the 1st time listed on EBAY OR ANYWHERE. This car was purchased new by my grandparents(Dan & Nell Kuecker-Maurice, Iowa). Before they came home he used the money and bought a new car. They went to Mahoney Motors in Sioux City and he told them he wanted the "Cheapest car with a V8 in it". He came home with this 1959 Ford Custom 300-292 V8. Total cost was $1,900. It had no radio, no clock, no armrests, no power steering.This car was to be my grandmother's to drive while Dan still drove his 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Flathead V8. I also own that car and both reside in my garage in Orange City, Iowa. It was on my Grandmother's estate sale in 1991 and my sister bought and owned it for 10 years and then sold it to me.I AM RETIRED NOW AND MY SISTERS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE CAR.IT LOOKS AND DRIVES VERY WELL.ORIGINAL COLOR WAS TIHITIAN BRONZE-GREEN INTERIOR.IT HAS NEVER BEEN DRILLED FOR ARMRESTS & ONLY THE FRONT SEAT HAS BEEN RECOVERED.
THE CAR IN IT'S LIFE MAY HAVE BEEN OUTSIDE ABOUT 10 NIGHTS TOTAL.THERE IS NO RUST AND NEVER HAD ANY RUST.
