This 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback is a true barn find. We are only the second owner. It has the original 352 motor and 3 speed cruise-o-matic transmission. Clear NC title. Runs, drives and stops great. Odometer reads 59478 but we are unsure if it has been tripped. Factory radio works. Also working - a/c, lights, wipers, windows. We repaired or replaced - reservoir tank, brakes ( including master cylinder, vacuum booster and wheel cylinders), starter, valve seals, a/c and rebuilt the transmission. The problems, which you can see in the pictures, are - needs tires, carpet is faded and old, bumpers need to be rechromed or replaced, paint has some scratches, and some of the chrome is pitted - all normal for an original car of this age. The rust that you see is surface rust - there are no major rust issues. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the auctions end. The balance is due within 7 days of the auctions end. Any payment method other than cash will have to clear the bank - 7 to 10 days - before car and title are released. Buyer - domestic or international - is responsible for shipping arrangements and cost or local pickup. We can be flexible on the time needed to schedule pickup.
