1936 Ford Model 68 Cabriolet Additional Info:
NO RESERVE! This 1936 Ford Model 68 Cabriolet is ready to drive home! A great original survivor that you won't be afraid to drive to the local car shows. Buy something that no one else at your club or show has. This is a very easy restoration vehicle, if you chose to go that route; no need to replace anything! Everyone in your family will fight over who rides in the rumble seat! Original drive train, body, and frame, the interior appears to be an original repop, very faithfully appointed to match what was originally in the car. All components work correctly; no disappointments. Brakes are mechanical and in excellent working order, tires are in great condition, carburetor recently replaced with new Stromburg, new spark plugs, and recently cleaned/flushed radiator. I found this vehicle sorting through family friend's personal effects after his death in barn in back of his house. Car cleaned up well, has some dings, scratches, and blemishes here and there, but no dents or rust. Frame is in excellent condition, as is the body, lighting, electrical, and interior. Convertible top works expertly and easily. Chrome's all clean and in good repair, seats have zero holes/gashes, and the windows all operate correctly/no cracks. You won't find a better, original example antique convertible V8 for this price. I am being relocated with my work, so the vehicle must be sold. Tons of Ford extras on the vehicle, such as original AM radio, foldable picnic basket rack, and glove compartment clock. Don't miss this opportunity! A $600 deposit via PayPal is due upon auction end. Funds must clear before delivery of vehicle. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Good luck!
