1993 Ford Mustang LX Additional Info:
I am selling my Mustang. I doubt you will find a nicer example. I bought this car a few years ago to have something to cruise in while my F-1 was being built. That truck is done and I need the garage space for it. The LX has all of the factory equipment that the GT has except for the ground effects. This car is unmolested. It was originally bought and used as a daily driver by a teacher (no, not the little old lady teacher). She sold it to a friend of mine who added the 17" Cobra wheels and Flowmaster mufflers. He used it as a cruiser. I do not have the stock wheels. If you must have them, I am sure there are junk yards that have lots of them. It runs strong and will get out of it's own way. It rides rather nice for a small car. It also has the second upgrade premium sound system. It has a power top comes with two boot covers, the black one pictured and the factory gray/silver one.I have added the driver's seat extender. I have the Mustang black lettering for the front and rear bumpers.
There are few issues with the car. I am not one to hide things. I do not like surprises and I doubt you do either. The air bag light is flashing a 5-2 code which means the module has a blown fuse. Pretty common for this model from what I have read on the internet. The passenger door lock (power actuator in Ford jargon) is frozen but I do have a new one that goes with the car. The driver's side rear window sometimes stops working. A whack with your palm gets it going again. But again, I want it known before you bid. The center console lid is new. I replaced it when I first bought the car. Seems that people lean on it when they get into the car and crack it since it is only plastic. But the plastic hinge is stripped so the lid flops around. There are some really small scratches on the passenger fender. Looks like they were done when someone was under the hood and didn't watch their belt buckle. I tried to get some photo of them but they are so small they didn't show up in the photos. One further thing is the mileage. When the title was transferred to me the PO wrote 124xxx instead of 114xxx which is what the car had on it. In NJ, it is a nightmare getting little things changed so I left it like that. The car currently has 115xxx miles on it. The car came with the dealer installed factory alarm system but it drained the battery in the winter while parked and it sometimes went off without warning so I had it removed (the alarm horn is visible in the engine photo but that too has been removed). The entire system is in a bag if you have to have an alarm. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
