1931 Ford Model A
You are looking at a 1931 four door, blind sedan with slant A pillars. A Victorian town car. Probably one of the sweetest rides of its time for sure. I go to a lot of shows and I have NEVER seen another one like it. It's hard to find one online even. I believe there are less than 30 still in existence.
My son and I built this car over the course of a year. It is our first Model A and our first chop of any kind. We took 5 inches out and channeled the car 3 inches. The car is sitting on air in the rear and has a total travel of 6 inches in the rear suspension. The rear is setup on a four-link system. 50 psi will take the car to its highest position while 15 psi will ride soft and low with minimal dragging. If you need more clearance, add more air. The car is fitted with onboard compressor and 3-gallon air tank.
If you have Instagram, you can see and follow the entire build and all the adventures we have taken in the car so far. Search Longneck_Ratrods and check out the build and some of the other stuff we have built. If you don't have that ability enjoy the pictures I loaded up and just ask and I can send more.

A couple features on this old Car
Boxed and Z-d frame
a 350 sb, 2 bolt main
Turbo 350 trans
3:42 open running gear in the rear
Power brakes, disc in the front, drums in the rear
Electric fan
Electric water pump
Practically new Coker whitewalls
All the glass is intact with the exception of the passenger side front window
The car does lay out on the ground, frame and body when aired out
The car has retractable lap seatbelts
4-inch drop axle up front with spring and shocks for old school look
Car always fires and runs, not cold natured at all. Has an electric choke and I've never used it
All lights and gauges work as they should. Speedo is a little off and there are no front turn signals, GM steering column
Rearview camera always on when the car is on
Removable canvas top
All steel, no patch panels or thru rust
1952 Hudson Hornet taillights, Glass
Saying all that, the car is not perfect. We didn't build it to sell, we built it to enjoy, take to shows, cruise and play with. We have had our fun and have some ideas of new things to build. Our budget only allows for one build at a time. So, this one must move on before we can start something new.
Things you should know
She is loud- loud -loud. If you like your neighbors this car isn't for you. Lol
Where the firewall and trans tunnel come together could use a little work. The firewall was touching trans when I put the body down, so I cut for clearance. It never bothered me but is worth mentioning
Lots of attention everywhere you go.......... LOTS............. EVERYWHERE
