1990 FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 SALEEN TRIBUTE
RMC is now offering this 49K Mile original mustang LX 5.0.
This 3 owner car has been very well kept and is finished in red exterior paint with white leather interior.Paint is largely original except for the Saleen spoiler kit which was installed by the 3rd owner.Condition of the paint shows nicely as seen in photos and has been well preserved for 29 years.Car has been lowered with a full sport performance suspension system with new kyb shocks and springsgiving the car better handling characteristics and of course amazing looks. The black top is fully functional andwas recently replaced and installed ($1,000). Wheels are like new ordered from late model restorationwith custom color matched centers 17x8 and 17x 9 wrapped in newer Sumitomo tires all around. Front lip is a custommade lip 1 of 1 which finishes off the front end of the car very nicely. All body panels have matching VIN tags.
Interior has custom Recaro seats with custom sliders. Sparco steering wheel has been installed. Original steering.Car still has the original radio which is very rare if you are a mustangenthusiast and it functions perfectly.All electronics in the car function as they should including power top windowsand air conditioning.The Dash is in great condition and is not cracked or warped in any way. A roll bar has beeninstalled and looks fantastic when cruising around with the top down.The gauge cluster shows like new and works flawlessly.
Engine is largely stock. The exhaust has been modified with an X pipe and the cats were taken off which is a very commonmodifications on the older 5.0 Mustangs. Recently replaced for preventive maintenance purposes were new fuel pump,new fuel filter, new coil,distributor, and new throttle position sensor. This car drives amazing, handles like its on rails andis very dialed in. Car can be daily driven without any issues.
