For your consideration we have for sale a very good looking 1966 Mustang that have Shelby stripes, the paint is real nice, it has a brilliant shine, the body solid, the interior good, 289 engine runs sweet, 4 speed manual transmission that shifts good, it drives, stops and runs good.
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK!SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS!WIPERS WORK! HEATER BLOWER WORKS!
HOW IS THE BODY? The body looks solid to me, the frame rails look solid, no holes on the under side, surface rust on the bottom, but no structural problems that I see. It has the old school under coating that helped do the job. If you want car show perfect, you need to clean and paint, "its driver quality".
HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider the paint very good, it has a brilliant shine with lots of metallic in the blue, the stripes are painted on, the body is straight down the sides, I see no bubbles, dents or dings in the paint. If I look with a critical eye I can find a spec or super tiny flaw, the paint is modern base clear coat. Door jambs, under sides and lips are paint slick and good.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good, seat covers good, carpet good, dash pad has no cracks, door panels good and just a little wavy, head liner replaced in the past and good with some wrinkles.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? A good running 289 with a 4 barrel carburetor, I hear no knocks or rattles and it starts good.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting 4 speed, it does not jump out of gear and the clutch is smooth.
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for 4 wheel 1966 drum brakes.
HOW IS THE CHROME? It all looks good to me.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? The way 1966 Mustangs drive, decent for the day.
HOW IS THE GLASS? Clear with no milky spots.

My son Keith is now 47 years old, he has always worked with me. He took auto body in school and started restoring his first car a 13 years old. That first car was a 1964 & 1/2 Mustang that he still owns. We are southern Baptist and proud to be American.
