1968 Ford Fairlane 500 Additional Info:

This is an all original 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible for sale. There are not very many of these cars left and they only made 127 of these in this combination. Super rare! Original white color with burgundy interior and black top. Just like it came off the showroom floor. It's a 3 owner car with the last owner having it repainted due to fading many years ago but still shows well. The top is in great condition, glass back window with no rips or tears and works flawlessly. Has interior matching top boot cover also. The drivetrain is the numbers matching 302 c-code rebuilt .30 over, Pertronix ignition, new dual exhaust and automatic transmission. No leaks, no smoke. Sounds awesome and drives great with new brakes and lines. It's now rolling on 18x8 Ridler wheels with 275/40 tires on the back and 255/40's on the front, but I have the original wheels and hubcaps with new tires that go with the car. New strut rod's, bushings and swaybar end links up front makes it drive nice and quiet with no rattling. Newer carpet, new GT door panels, new armrests and leather seats front and back that are in amazing shape. Did I mention it has working A/C!!! Period correct Mark IV top of the line underdash A/C unit works like an icebox. Converted to R-134a. It doesn't get any better, a classic convertible with air conditioning. Everything on this car works, EVERYTHING. This car was undercoated so there is 0 rust underneath plus it's been a southern car all it's life. You will not see another one like it. Thanks
