This 1964 Ford Thunderbird might just be the most affordable way to take home a comfortable cruiser that also turns heads the moment it leaves the garage. In fact, with a cool color, V8 power, and ice-cold A/C, and this is a classic coupe that you can enjoy any day of the week. A bright T-bird from this generation is the perfect blend of aggression and elegance. After all, items like the shark-like nose and hood scoop artfully... blend with the fender skirts and formal hardtop for a terrific total presentation. We especially like the gold-like glow of the factory-correct Florentine Green â€" and '64 was the only year it was offered. The chrome bumpers are some of the best integrated forms ever put on a vehicle. The front has a swoopy design that frames the headlights and surrounds the grille. In the rear, it's a mirror-like endcap for one of the most interesting trunk lines to ever hit the road. And the smooth and bright Ford wheel covers with whitewalls only increases the attention this coupe commands. Personal luxury really meant something in 1964, and so everyone gets a bucket seat (and the driver's power adjusts, too.) The factory-correct black looks nice against the exterior color and all that bright trim inside. A center console was standard equipment, and the way the trim is laid out reminds us all the driver is king. This also includes controls for the power windows, power locks, AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. They all have a classic feel in this highly original-style interior, and it's all working nicely. More of this time capsule feel is in the gauges have that 60s-cool setup that is so intricate that we know no factory would ever dare try in modern times. The ribbon-style speedometer sits on top, and four fashionable individual round pods finish the gauge package. The big block 390 cubic-inch V8 was the only motor available in '64, and that's because it had the horsepower and torque to keep everyone happy. This one has been treated to the right maintenance. So more than just the bright blue on the air topper and valve covers, you have newer pieces like the alternator, A/C lines, plug wires, belts, and more. The V8 inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. It makes nice sound out of the dual exhaust â€" it's not like a muscle car, but instead, a confident and mature rumble. Plus, a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes make this coupe an easy cruiser. Thunderbirds have always represented style, but this one also presents good value for a feature-filled classic driver. Don't miss out on this classy coupe, call today!!!
