Ford Motor Company commissioned these Shay model A Fords for their 75 th anniversary. They were very popular and were sold by Ford Dealers in the early 80's.Now 30 years later they have become collectible in their own right as well as being an iconic commemorative 28 thru 31 Ford Model A.All the nostalgic fun of an old model A with a much smoother running and driving automobile. Modern reliability. 12 volt, good lights, strong Ford 4 cylinder overhead valve engine and smooth automatic drive. Has independent front suspension and disc brakes.The car engine has been striped of lots of the smog junk, So it may not pass California emissions. However the simplified engine runs smooth and is easier to service.
This car features a rumble seat (great parade and promotional car) She has a very nice convertible top and boot, Under seat heater & blower plus a set of good Plexiglas Side Curtains. Obviously no rust.She has a radio, period correct potters trunk. Very good paint. No drips or oil leaks. The later 14 inch wheels and radial tires is exceedingly better than the original narrow 18 inch wheels.I'm probably leaving some details out, but the pictures speak for the car.NO PAY PAL on this one. Bank transfer works best but actually any method of payment is OK as car will not leave until funds have cleared.Car can be left in my garage for a couple of weeks if necessary.
