1933 Ford 3 Window Additional Info:
This is an All steel Ford, 1933 Ford 3 Window coupe. This car was built in the early 2000s and competed in the International Show Car Association circuit. The car sits on a custom chassis with Halibrand Quick change rear end, inboard disc brakes, independent coil over rear suspension. All suspension components are chromed or polished aluminum. The front suspension is a standard hairpin with a solid beam and single leaf spring.
The engine is a 49 Flathead with polished Edelbrock heads that was built by Motor City Flatheads. Three Stromberg 97 Carbs feed the fuel topped with custom made Motor City Flathead aluminum air cleaner with K&N filter. The engine has the improved oiling system with external filter. On a hot day the engine still has about 12 PSI which is great for a flatty. The engine is attached to a Ford C4 automatic transmission with Lokar Shifter.
Vintage air A/C and alternator run off a drive shaft system mounted under the chassis. Custom fuel tank with exterior fuel door with quick fill cap.
Full custom leather interior, with am/fm cd player stereo system and power rumble seat, also finished in custom leather.
Finshied in a custom blend brandywine paint with polished aluminum Foose Wheels
This car is about as perfect as you could ask for in a streetrod. Fit and finish is unbelievable.
I have all receipts and build photos of this car, which was built by Jim's Rod Shop.
