1932 Ford Roadster Additional Info:
A breath of fresh air in a sea of small block Chevys, the Chrysler 392 HEMI. This mammoth engine is coupled to a Tremec TKO 600 (.64 overdrive) five speed transmission through a Lakewood bellhousing and Ram clutch to a Ford 9 inch rear. Built in the style of the late 50's, early 60's it gives a hint of Bonneville in this beautiful street cruiser. This Hemi is nestled in a SoCal frame topped by a Brookville steel body. Only the best parts and pieces were used in this build with a Walker radiator,Classic guages, Guide headlights, Mercedes leather and drilled backing plates. The HEMI motor has a mild cam and is topped by a rare Weiand tri-power with Rochester 2G carbs. Hot Heads reproduction cast iron truck manifolds expel the gases through glas pack mufflers through the stainless steel exhaust pipes and gives it a gentle rumble that draws a crowd wherever you go.The Rod Tops top breaks down to fit in its own case in the trunk so you can take it with you in case the weather takes a downturn. A full tonneau cover again enhances the Bonneville look. The car rides on steel wheels with Michelin tires all around. SR165 R15's on Front and 235/85/16's provide the perfect stance for this vehicle. The car drives beautifully and with the overdrive transmission 70 mph is just at 2100 rpm with the HEMI barely breaking a sweat. Clear original title. No trades and please bid only if you plan on completing a deal. Own this in time to drive it to the 50th NSRA Nationals in Louisville in August.
