1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
Up for bids is this 1965 mustang that I am relisting for the 1st time due to no contact from the winning bidder. I am hoping the next winning bidder will follow thru with the deal. Please serious bidders. This is not a game. This is a very nice car. This car has been in my family for a while now. It was purchased by my grandfather in the early 90's and sold then my dad purchased it back and restored it. It is a 65 coupe and is a original pony interior car. It has factory A/C. It is hooked up and will blow but will need upgrading the compressor to the new stuff. It does not currently blow cold. It is a nice looking dark green color with white and green pony interior. The paint job looks nice. It has a great shine and appeal to it. It does have a few blemishes. I took pictures of a few. It really looks nice just not a $10,000 paint job but the car is priced as it should be. The interior is nice but not perfect. It had new carpet, headliner, doorpanels, and dash pad installed. It also has a new instrument bezel. The seat covers are decent but could use a new set if you want to replace them. If you want a driver they are fine. It has a nice set of tires. The car runs out nice and drives good. It is all manual brakes and manual front end no upgrades so it does not drive like a new car. I have sold some old mustangs in the past and people who have never driven a old car was expecting it to drive like a new Cadillac so I just want you to know in advance it does not. It is a 54 year old car. You can upgrade everything on it but that's all up to you. The engine bay is solid, frame rails are solid, floors are good. The section under the seat riser has a few spots on it that are not affecting anything and are not bad but I just want to make it known that they are there. The floors are find as they are. This is not a show car this is a driver car. I just want to get that understood. A show car like this will cost $15K and up. I am going to start this car off at $6K and no reserve. A good paint job cost that so understand what it cost to rebuild one of these and look around. This is a really good price on this car. The chrome on it is nice. It has a nice set of wire spinner hub caps. It has a clear title in my dads name. This is his car I am just listing it for him. He has several old toys and just needs to downsize. If you have questions or need more info either call me at 318-278-1069 or email me. This is the lowest I will take for it or it can sit there. Look around you won't find many this cheap in this shape. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for the car. I can store for a while but needs to be picked up in a month after deal is made. This car is sold as is with no warranty. Car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. Again If you need anything just let me know.
