This car was my daily driver for the last several years but my work is 32 miles away and I had to get an economy car to drive. This one gets 17mi per gallon witch is great for the power but not so great for distance. Now I have too many vehicles and need to sacrifice one. I won't be sad if it don't sell, it's been my baby for the last 20 years. I've purchased every NOS OEM part I could over the years and added them to this car. We had a hail storm recently and it broke the passenger mirror, rear windshield trim and both tail lights. I was able topurchase an OEMNOS passenger mirror and a right tail light which I restored to like new condition andalso purchased two newOEM NOS window motors and installedeverything. The left tail light still has tape on it I haven't found one for that side yet. The interior has new ; headlight switch, mirror switch, warning buzzer and console switch plate even a NOS brake pedal pad. The exterior has all new emblems grill bird, quarter panel birds and trunk emblem, the front side moldings are also new. All OEM NOS parts, I don't do China parts. I only use factory or high quality racing parts. Here's were the money comes in; The engine is 1976 351w stock block bored to 357 .030 over, reconditioned rods and crank(cut.10,.10).Speed pro rings rod bearings and mains, and camshaft CS1063R. Ford racing double row timing set covered a new ford racing timing cover, with a new miloden high volume water pump,there's also a Ford racing fox body oil pan on it. On top of all that there is a recently new set of Ford Racing heads M6049x302 GT40 Turbo swirl aluminum 64cc withFord Racing roller rockers and a set ofmotorsport aluminum valve coverstopped with a Weiand Stealth intake 4 barrel intake manifold with a Holley 0-80570 street avengercarburetor, it was stronger with the 670 carb. but I put this one on for economy, it still gets up and goes.The carb. has a K&N drop filter plate so a 14x3 filter will fit under the hood. The accessories include a newTuff Stuff 100 amp alternator new idler bearings new a/c clutch new ford racing air pump delete idler and a new belt and hoses. Up front of the radiator is a B&M oil cooler and a Flex-A-Lite electric pusher fan to help the A/C cool and waiting in traffic controlled by a Flex-A-lite adjustable fan control. The ignition is a msd ready to run distributer with a blaster 2 coil and ford racing wires. Fuel is pumped by a mechanical Holley high volume pump with a Holley regulator aluminum fuel line to the tank with new OEM pick up for an earlier model thunderbird, the tank had also been replaced with a new one. The control cablesfor the Carb. and transmission TV valve are Lokar stainless cables. The exhaust is BBK 351W swap shorty headersBBK H-pipe 2-1/2" Dyno-max mufflerswith Summit intermediate and tail pipes for a mustang LX. This is a fox body car and a lot of parts interchange with mustang but are not shown in catalogs. Quality fasteners were also used in this build, ARP head bolts, intake bolts and locking header bolts. Finally the drivetrain; it has a fresh Monster Transmissionstage 1 transmission with very low miles, I didn't like the way it shifted and monster wanted me to take it out and sent it back to them, I think they are crazy, thats way too much work and I paid $2,000 for perfect transmission. Anyway I put a TCIStreet Fighter valve body in it ( more money) and it works GREAT! It has a 1600 stall converter and a 2:73 rear all geared for the street, a Dailey driver. The driveshaft was balanced and new Spicer U-joints were installed. It has14" American racing aluminumrims with 1 year old Toyo touring tires, rims are very hard to find for this car. If I keep this car I'm going to put a roller block in it, the hole top end has been recently replaced but the block needs to be refreshed or replaced the compression is low in a couple of cylinders and it don't idle as good as it should but its powerful. The 155 Hp 5.0 motor was removed at101000 miles and restoration began with the 351W. The sub woofer and amp will be removed if sold they were a gift from my son, they are shown in one of the pictures. The car is equipped with six high performance speakers that were placed in the stock places dash, doors and rear deck. I believe they are kickers. The moonroof is sealed closed because I was unable to find a new seal for it, air whistled trough it and that will drive you batty. but it still provides you with a good view. Power windows work good and rear window defrost also,A/C is cold. I kept this car well maintained as I do all my cars.* NOS new old stock *OEM original equipment manufacturer
