You are bidding on this great 1956 Ford F-250 that is begging to be put back into service. The engine is the Y-Block V8 that starts and runs rather well with the turn of the key. The drive-train seems to be original or at least period correct and the truck will run and drive even after all these years. The brake fluid eventually leaks out but when topped off the brakes work surprisingly well. The body is very well preserved and is most rust free as you can see. It seems to be mostly complete and shows no wrecks or accidents, it is such a great starting point for a restoration. The Frame is similar to the body, while there is surface rust of course.......there's not the cancer that you would expect on such a classic UN-restored vehicle. It's a project, but not one that you'll be hating life on. It seems to have all it's original wheels (or again period correct ones), including the spare located on the side. The tires look old, so while you'll replace them when its restored.......they look mean on this truck. The interior looks mostly complete and has minimal rust, again......its surprising how good of shape it is actually in. All of the glass is in the truck, although the back glass has two cracks. The front glass looks very good with only one small rock chip that would be easily repairable and not have to replace the windshield. The truck has a clear Kentucky title and is ready to go for the next owner of this fine machine. Please look closely at the pictures and if you have any questions please ask. I'm sure I've missed something and I encourage you to come look at the truck beforehand and witness it's beauty. I have included a brief video at the end of the listing to show it running. I am putting a low reserve on the auction so as to not give it away. Thanks and Happy Bidding! Terms of Sale $200 depositrequired within 24 hours of the bidding completion. The final balance can be paid through Cash (in person) As-Is sale. Signed and notarized title will be given upon final payment. Buyer isresponsible fordeliverycosts. Pickup isavailable. |
