1936 Ford Model 68 Deluxe Additional Info:
Hello Everyone, at this time we are offering our 1936 Ford Sedan Humpback Model 68 for sale. A bit of history on the car. This automobile came from an Estat, owner has passed and he was the second owner, his father was the original owner since new in 1936 !. Car was and is a California car since day one with 0 rust issues anywhere ! It went a restoration sometime in mid 90's as we were told, the interior is in excellent all black vinyl with red trim, but not original Mohair fabric. Black carpet with insulation, has a rare Banjo steering wheel. New 12 volt wiring through out the car. Paint is old and kind of an off color with some fading on the roof and peeling on the back spare tire cover. Has rare Continental factory original spare tire kit. Tires are near new . When we acquired the car, the metal radiator fan came off and damaged the radiator, so we found a good used radiator, had it teste, cleaned and painted. Since we have installed brand new high quality water pumps, Motor mounts, radiator, brand new factory rebuilt Generator, belt, water hoses clamps, rebuilt distributor, electric cooling fan with a temp gauge and switch, car runs super cool, spark plugs, and fresh oil. We were advised that the highly sought out 59 AB, 24 stud motor was rebuilt in 2006 and it sure feels like it, super strong, great compression, starts on a first crank ! Car runs really good, three speed on the floor, still has the mechanical brakes but they work well. Car has been converted to a 12 volt system with new wiring. I believe that the front has been lowered just a little bit, has an excellent Stance !. 100 % all steel, rust free, original, has 1936 original license plates. Has Original Factory HURD keys that unlock/lock both the outside door and ignition !!. Just registered with clear California Title until 2020, no issues and the car is insured. The only feature we have not fixed as of ye, is the headlight switch, so no lights at night but the turn signals ( aftermarket), work well LED. Great driving American piece of history that you could enjoy as is, or restore to perfection. If i was going to keep it, i would paint it black on black. But i have other projects I am working on right now. Asking $13.500, car is worth so much mor, if you know, look around but rust free original CA car? No emergency sale here, not in a hurry, will consider offers but pretty firm on the price. Thank you :)
** No Reserve, but listed locally for $13.5 if it sells in local ad the auction will be removed **
