1978 Ford F-150 Ranger Additional Info:

Complete restoration of a solid AZ truck. 2nd owner, 129,000 miles, approximately 1000 miles on restoration. Truck is very nice, not perfect. Everywhere I drive it people tell me how awesome it is. Truck is all original #s match, except for ¾ ton conversion. Dana 60 installed in rear, 8 lug rotors and larger calipers up front on original Dana 44. New 8 lug, 16" aluminum mods with 33" TA All Terrain Tires. 1st Repaint by Hollie Spack of Auto Body Specialists in Mesa using DeBeers orange paint and Dupont Cream ( original colors). Body has no rust and truck has never been wrecked. Nice sprayed in bedliner and bed is nearly free of dings.

Rancho 9000, 5 way adjustable shocks. Truck drives like a Cadillac. Steering is tight and the truck absorbs speed bumps like they don't exist.

Trannie and Transfer case were rebuilt by AJ transmission In Mesa. Jerry has built 10 transmissions for me and was one of the best. God rest his soul, miss you.

3.51 and 3.50 gears. Difs inspected and resealed with new fluid, no leaks.

Supercooler radiator with Radcap. Large radiator keeps this Bad Ass +.040 400 CID engine running cool.

+.040 400 rebuilt by Randy Troxell. Motor rebuild 15 years ago with premium components. Motor runs strong and sounds great.

Mobile full synthetic 10-30 oil is used and the 3 quarts left in the 5er will be included.

Pride of ownership is evident when looking at this restoration. No expense was spared, no shortcuts taken. All parts and components installed are of the best available quality. Reason I am selling; it is not practical to keep this truck. I have no storage so it sits outside. I have invested too much love into this truck to see it sit on the street. The truck is too nice to take hunting or get scratched up with desert pinstriping. I love this truck and have countless hours and lots of money invested in this machine. Truck runs excellent, drives great, looks great, and is super dependable. Everywhere I go people tell me how nice the truck is and about their Dad's, brothers, or uncles old Ford. I have found it most rewarding

. This vintage Supercab is good to go for another 40 years if properly cared for and maintained. Scott Schroeder 602-989-0488. Mesa Az. PS THX for your time. Delivery available.
