Excellent condition. Original paint, cream exterior with black “canopy”, original blue vinyl interior, both in great condition for it’s age. 100% running condition - starts first time and has no oil leaks. Drives great - awesome for cruising around town. Working air conditioner. Bumper-to-bumper inspection done by local mechanic specializing in classic cars. Checked and fixed any issues related to the cooling system, brakes, lights, gearbox and power steering - one brake replaced, everything else checked out fine. Some small rust spots on the body. Great car - this will be your baby.
Modifications:
Engine replaced with 5.8L (354 cubic inch) Ford EFI V8 (unknown number of miles on it, guessing around 5k - 10k).
Automatic transmission rebuilt at same time as the engine replacement.
Custom exhaust and K&N air filter - the big V8 sound great!
Larger 33” BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
Retro chrome wheels.
Installed new retractable front seat belts as a safety precaution.
Additional work (done by local classic car specialist):
Rebuilt the steering column to remove play - work done by steering specialist.
Adjusted steering and front suspension components for truer tracking and less play.
Replaced power steering pump with professionally rebuilt OEM component.
New rear brake light pedal switch and replaced worn wiring.
Brakes inspected and adjusted, and one drum and shoes replaced.
Replaced various bits and pieces, e.g. gear selector indicator, dashboard bulbs.
