1968 Ford Ranchero Additional Info:
this is basicly an original vehicle with one repaint. It is a facxtory GT with a 390 2v engine, automatic trns, power steering and power brakes. When I purchased the vehicle the ownewr gave me an extensive list of minor mechanical improvments. All improvments have very few miles on them but are several years old, like asurface rusty new mster cylinder. The truck starts easily, runs strong and could use some idle adjustments, trans shifts good. The body is very straight with absolutely no rust or rust repair showing nywhere. The rockers, quarters, door bottoms, fender bottoms and edges are all excellent. It has been repainted and the paint is poor.Trim plate codes in order are, 66B F 5U 170 12 E U 4. The interior is original, carpets need replacing, seats and door panels are fair. Glass is good, bumpers are ok. The best feature is how straight and solid the overll body is. My plan was a 428 CJ with a 4 speed and some high back buckets { 69 type). My plans and time have changed, The truck is a perfect candidate for restoration. It has correct GT wheels, and if you're brave you could drive it home. My 50 years of dealing in older vehicles says, bring a trailer to be safe. Storage here, inside, is no problem. Send me your phone number, I'll call and give you honest answers. Sorry for the typos my keyboard is missing some letter covers. .Check out my feedbacks, I've sold classics for the past 50 years and have only positive feedbacks, now retirered and have spent the last 2 years personally building a house and want a break.
