1971 Ford Mustang CONVERTIBLE Additional Info:

The project car has been garage stored for over 24 years. The biggest piece was already completed. The entire bottom of the car has been replaced with a new floor pans and frame rails by a highly professional shop. The car has some rare features, power windows, tilt steering, front disk brakes, power top. A rear end from a '88 Lincoln town car was added to provide rear disk brakes and posi-traction. The the car was in the process of being stripped down to be restored when it was stored away. The motor had begun to be dis-assembled. Almost all the parts are there and a few extras. The intake was a dual holley 500 bbl carb set up(included). There is a dual exhaust set up and I believe the tranny had been beefed up at some point. It is missing the hood. Keep in mind I was pretty young when my father passed away and was the one working on the car. Some info and details may vary as it has been a very long time since it has been worked on. I hope this car finds a good home of someone willing and knowledgeable to give it the attention it needs to get back on the road. When this was running the 302 V-8 provided plenty of power for cruising down the highway.
