SPECIAL NOTE: This roadster is a perfect combination of a totally streetable daily driver that is extremely quick. With an engine making 90 hp less than the current configuration, the car ran 11.61 @ 120.16 in the quarter mile. The car idles smoothly and never overheats.
CHASSIS: Boxed '32 frame with Just-A-Hobby frame rails and P&J front crossmember. All front suspension components are polished stainless steel except for chrome Bell tube 4" drop axle and chrome spring. Even the spindles are one piece forged polished stainless steel as well as all other front suspension components. • Drive train includes a B&M Holeshot converter, B&M polished aluminum TH-400 trans, and polished Halibrand quick change rear with Currie axles, Strange rear coilovers, JFZ disc brakes on all four corners, Aldan front shocks, Boyd very limited production true knock-off wheels (7x14 and 8x15) with Dunlop P195/60/R14 tires front and P225/70/R15 rear, Rock Valley gas tank.
BODY: Gibbon Body with steel running boards and all aluminum custom 3-piece hood. Stainless grill insert, Griffin aluminum radiator, Doc's Custom LED taillights in rear spreader bar.
INTERIOR: Full custom interior. Black and Red leather with fabric inserts. In 2019 dollars this is a $22,500 interior. With black Nardi wheel with red stitching. B&M Street Stick Shifter in console. Billet Specialties tilt steering wheel anodized black to match interior theme. Lots of custom touches such as black chrome shifter components, black anodized pedals, etc. • Sound system includes Alpine head unit, subwoofer chamber built behind seats with two 10" subwoofers, four front speakers all powered by two Kenwood amplifiers and a CD changer in the trunk.
Seller Note's: Originally built by Magoo's Street Rods, one of the premier street rod builders of its time. The car was rebuilt by Roy Brizio's Street Rods a few years later. Many upgrades were incorporated with the rebuild. Then in 2007 the car was totally reconditioned by Brizio at a cost of $68,000 and upgraded again in many areas including a refreshed engine and transmission. Only about 4,000 miles have been driven since the refresh.
