1950 Ford Club Deluxe Additional Info:
A real California car, NOT a rust bucket.Hit-free virgin body.283 Chevy (bored out to 301 c.i.) with a Saginaw four-speed transmission and Mustang rear end. New carburetor. Hurst 4-speed floor shifter.Converted to 12v system. The car is lowered in the front end with fat man spindles and arrow star springs, rear springs are new from Shoebox Central. Soundproofing throughout the car. New Hankook tires. Car runs and drives well.Mileage (on the odometer) is 24,409.
Electric windshield wipers and all gauges work. New carpet and some upholstery. Excellent chrome. Straight "dentless" stainless trim. Doors do not sag and fit like new. Fresh stock brakes and "tight" smooth shifting transmission. VIN HDRH138554. Has correct front seat with center drop-down arm rest (it is way better than the stock front seat - and looks stock!) Aftermarket AM/FM Stereo.
Items needing attention:The black vinyl headliner is okay, but could use some work. The older 1980s blue metallic paint job was hit with primer spots to give it a "rat rod" look. The primer was just sprayed on top of the blue paint, it was not sanded. The primer spots can be removed and the paint (possibly) saved. It will require some time and patience to get the primer off. (Note: I did not spray those spots, it was done a long time ago.)
Note: mileage "stated" in listing is the current odometer reading - actual mileage is unknown & not warranted
